India’s hottest ever photoshoot featuring the sexiest Indian and foreign models is finally here. Oh yeah! Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar for the year 2013 is out. The ace fashion photographer Atul Kasbekar proudly presents his marvelous collection.
Each year Atul Kasbekar, the genius behind the calendar shoot, takes immense care to ensure that the aesthetic value in the calendar is way more “sensual” than “sexual”.
Launched by the liquor baron Vijay Mallya in the year 2003, Kingfisher calendar is often called India’s answer to the illustrious Pirelli calendar, but according to Atul Kasbekar both the calendars are different in many ways. While talking to a news magazine, the photographer says, “Pirelli is about women and not necessarily about swimwear. It’s also way risque in its style and pushes the envelope routinely even by European standards”. Further, he adds, “Our calendar is more about swimwear and is a launch pad for fresh talent.”
For this year, the crew and models travelled to the exotic land of South Africa. The calendar captures the fascinating jungles of Kruger and the sublime charm of Cape Town, thus making it the perfect compilation of stunning shots -- a sensational spread.
